When you first wake up in the morning, how do you think God sees you??? That's an amazing question we should ask constantly ask ourselves. I have broken down into three main categories: You are a friend (believer), enemy, or he dosen't know you at all. Let's begin with you being a friend of God. When you wake up in the morning, the LORD is excited that you are alive to see another day. You are called his friend because you are a believer, have accepted that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and you have devoted your life for his glory. The devil can't stand you because you are not his. God can count and rely on you because his Spirit deals within you. There are many benefits you receive being called God's friend. No harm can come your way because you are covered by the almighty. You have his approval of protection.
The next one is you being an enemy of God. When you wake up in the morning, God is displeased about you because you chose to be against him. You have made the cognitive decision to make him your enemy, and follow the devil. You may be against God but he will be waiting for you to turn from your wicked ways, and hopefully return back to him. People that fall under this category, try to do everything in their power to go against everything God stands for. They are allies with the devil.
The last one is that God doesn't know you at all. When you wake up in the morning, God doesn't have any type of relationship with you. You are the type of person who hasn't made up their mind who to serve. The bible talks about us choosing this day who we are going to serve. This can be a dangerous position to be in because you don't have a solid foundation to stand on, and can be subject to fall for anything. This is also the opportunity to change that status and get to know God.
I challenge and urge those reading this article to reevaluate yourselves and consider the position you find yourselves in regards to God. Does God see me as friend, enemy, or doesn't know me at all? It is all up to you and the decision is yours to make where you stand. Unlike the devil, God doesn't force himself or his will on anyone who doesn't want him. God bless, make wise decisions, and live your best lives.
