When you first wake up in the morning, how do you think the devil sees you? That's a good question we need to ask ourselves on a daily basis. I've broken this down into three main categories: A threat (foe), push-over, and an ally. Let's begin with looking at you being viewed as a threat or foe to the devil. Everytime you wake up in the morning, the devil is upset and mad to know that you are still alive. The very thought of your presence and exsitence causes issues for him. He knows that you are a child of God and you are disciple of Jesus Christ. He also knows that you house the HolyGhost of the living God and the power you posse will be a problem for his agenda in the Earth. Your mission is to denounce his kingdom, spread the good news of Jesus Christ, and tell and show a sinful world God loves them. The devil will keep a close and watchful eye on you to see what you will do next. Remember in the book of Job, the devil hated him because of the love and blessings he recieved from God. He had to ask God's promise to be allowed to tempt and try Job. He wanted to prove that if Job lost everything, he would curse God. God granted his request but told him not to take his life. Do not be dismayed if you feel like the devil is always on your case and causing you issues. He sees somthing in you that is a threat to his plans. God will be with you to combat the advisory on your behalf.
The next one is you being viewed as a push-over to the devil. Everytime you wake in the morning, the devil doesn't even consider you worth his time. You're no threat to him because you may not be saved, you maybe saved but have no anointing or power, or neutral (not chosing neither one to serve). The Bible mentions that people shouldn't be luke warm but be on fire for one and cold to the other. You can not just coast by serving both God and the devil. A person like this is unstable and gives way for the enemy to have his way. If you are not saved, the devil will just overlook you and think that he already has you in his clutches. He's not going to put up a fight against someone he considers weak in mind, body, and soul. The same goes for those that say they are saved but no evidence is proven. I always say that it's the anointing that makes the difference. A person that don't posse the power of God, will be ran over by the devil and his minions. If you feel like everything is going wonderful in your life, and the enemy doesn't pick at you, then there is an issue. People who are in Christ, get ruffled up sometimes in the good fight of faith against the devil.
Lastly, lets look at you being viewed as an ally to the devil. Everytime you wake up in the morning, the devil is excited that you are alive. He knows that you are his ally and that you are against everything associated with God. You have volunteered, sacrificed your soul into devotion, and serving the devil. He also knows his time will soon come to an end and he wants to take out as many people as possible. He doesn't want to be in hell alone. When you think about an ally, you think about someone joining forces with another to fulfill a common goal. You are not a threat to him nor an unwittingly pawn or push-over. You have chosen to love him and hate God.
I want you to conduct a spiritual self-evaluation of your life, and ask yourself how does the devil view me? Where do I fall into these categories? What can I do to change for the better? These are the questions worth asking yourselves. God bless and I hope this article sheds some light and makes you think!
